GOALS

ACADEMIC

GOALS:

I attend Lane Community College with the overarching goal of completing my AAOT and eventually transferring to a four year college, most likely the University of Oregon, to pursue my BA degree in English. I don't wish to simply pass classes on this journey though, my goals is to really learn along the way, to make my hours spent studying worth it. Often, I find myself very dedicated to Writing and English classes, but I want to expand that dedication to other types of classes, because I want to be a writer, and writers need things to write about.

PERFESSIONAL

GOALS:

Pencil and notepad

More than anything, I want to write.  Not just for myself, although I enjoy that as well, but for others. I like all forms of writing, but my goal is to write novels, particularly young-adult fiction. As of right now, I am working on the first draft of a book, and I plan to finish the first draft by September. By the end of the year I aim to have it completed, and to decide whether I want to self publish or not.

PERSONAL

GOALS:

Car with open trunk

I adore writing, so in many ways my “personal” goals and my “professional” goals coincide. Fortunately, my life does not consist purely of writing. One of the other things that consumes my life (and my money), is my 1960 Ford Falcon, and I have hopes of one day restoring it. As of right now, the headliner sags, the windows leak, and the carpet resembles more of a tarp. My goal is to have completed the interior restorations by the end of the summer.
